| Ft Spokane Battalion Parent Group Organization Fort Spokane Battalion Parents’ Group Meeting Minutes - - Hard Copy DOC can be downloaded HERE Fort Spokane Battalion USNSCC & USNLCC Parents' Group Meeting Dec 19, 2009 Called to order: Parents Group President, Richard Logerwell Attendees: 7 Parents Officers: Lt T. Fitch Business: • Richard Logerwell announced that the Leaguers and Sea Cadets will have separate Awards Banquets. Leaguers will be in sometime in February. Sea Cadets will be on Jan 16th. Guests arrive at 1700 . Any parents that can help setup for the banquet please show up at 1500. Webers will purchase decorations. Discussion on how to place tables for maximum space. • Elections held for new Parents Group Officers. New Officers are as follows: President-Mr. Weber/Vice President-Mr. Crane/Treasurer-Mr. Latham/Secretary-Mrs. Weber. Thank-you to everyone for making themselves available. • Received donation from the Sportsman's Club. Half proceeds went to Parents Group and half to Administration. • Discussion on parents standing on front wall facing Cadets during muster to be more a part of the ceremony. Parents liked the change. Like making faces at Cadets to make them laugh. Lt Fitch said that is good practice for them. • Fundraisers: Tastefully Simple Fundraiser raised $100 plus $60 in products. There will be another fundraiser in March. Details to follow. • Hunters Safety Course date to be determined. Possibly in April. Qualifications for Marksmanship Ribbon in September requires Hunters Safety Card. Adjourned: 8:50 |
