Richard opened the meeting at 8:15 am.

Richard gave a treasurers update: a significant sum was earned on the silent
auction at the January banquet, and some $ was received in donations.  The
auction money is for PGO treasury, at this point we’re unsure if the donations will go
toward the Cadet treasury or PGO. The caterers have been paid—total cost of the
meal was $600 just about $5.00 per person.

The Ice Cream Social was delayed but will be served in upcoming months,
probably during the Commanders Cup in April.

There was a discussion about having the PGO elections immediately following the
banquet. The Secretary will check the PGO Bylaws and report whether a bylaw
change needs to be proposed. It was moved, seconded and passed that elections
be held in December with assumption of duties in January.

Upcoming Events:

March: being finalized. Snow Camp to be held at Cusick FAFB Survival School, the
backup is Harvey Property in Newport. Seabag list will be distributed today. Some
activities include: winter orienteering, safety briefs, live-fire qualifications.
Permission slips for cadets to shoot live-fire need to be signed today.

April: Commander’s Cup. Region 13 has approximately $1,000, LCDR Smith
needs to request the funds. These funds are used as “seed money”, so the host
unit/PGO doesn’t need to expend their funds to purchase food and supplies for the
event. LCDR Smith explained the differences between Commanders Cup and
Flagship.
